La Jolla has had a decades long legacy of success and character building in the community. But recent progression has been notable.
La Jolla XC boys lost San Diego CIF Championships by 1 point in 2023. They went on to place 14th (Division 4) at the CIF State Championships.
La Jolla Girls XC won the CIF San Diego Championships in a dominating fashion, placing 1-2-3-4. They were led by State Champion Chiara Dailey. The girls would go on to place 3rd at CIF State Championships.
